Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar, Vocalist, Vocalist - Alto.

We create eclectic and unique rhythms, harmonies, and counterpoints by applying modern technology and implementation with classical fundamentals and theory. We also implement Spud Murphy's Equal Interval System from time to time.

These systems are used to create a unique, psychedelic experience for our listeners in the context of classically and EIS influenced rock. Listen to our to get an idea.

One caveat, most of the tracks on there at the moment are literally our first or second takes of each song.

We are forming this band alongside an apparel company (The founder of the company is forming the band). Find out all about it here: s://websta.me/n/m.blok.est.1996

In the spirit of "For the Artist By the Artist" and "Normal is boring, we're here for the odd," the band's (hopefully unique, eclectic, psychedelic, conscience expanding) music will be featured in paid gigs during outdoor festivals and events alongside the sales tent selling the company's line of apparel and other products.

That's the vision, but I won't sit here and yank your chain and say we're a professional band with professional equipment and professional players. We're in this for the love of music, but we have an entrepreneur and a CPA. If there's money to be made, we'll make it happen, but it -will- -take- -time-.

That said, band members will be compensated for their performances, which will be used as a promotional tool for M Blok apparel. Compensation to be determined case-by-case and event-by-event.

I hate this question.

Musicians are influenced by everyone they listen to, and certain compositions carry an influence of one group of artists while the next composition might go in an entirely different direction. Or it might be something entirely new altogether. Who was Schoenberg's influence? Okay, Debussey, Chopin, a ton of others, but this is a bullsh*t question nonetheless.

So, here's an irrelevant and arbitrary list of bands that have, at best, a tenuous resemblance to what we're aiming for:

The Doors
Pink Floyd
Tower of Power
Peter Tosh
Leonard Bernstein
Yngwie Malmsteen
Miles Davis
Norah Jones
Black Sabbath
Franz Listz
Ludwig Van Beethoven
Scott Joplin
Janis Joplin
The Mills Brothers
Charlie Parker
Cradle of Filth
Dead Can Dance
Limp Bizkit
Human Waste Project
Beastie Boys
Imogen Heap
Tito Puente

Yeah, that's enough.
