3 piece band in the Santa Cruz area looking to jam with others.

Hi, My name is Kayla Fields I am 11 years old and I play the guitar in a band called Strawberry Fields Forever. I started playing guitar last summer and fell in love with the instrument! Over the summer I practiced for about 3 hours a day with my 2 sisters and we were invited to play at the Santa Cruz County Fair by our local radio station.

After summer was over I had less time to practice because of school but I still managed to practice 15min before school and 1 hour after each day. At first our dad would tell us to turn down the music every morning but he got used to it after a while. As a reward for making the Honor Roll and Principles List for Straight A's all year, my dad took me for a lesson with G KOOP in Oakland CA. I was very excited when I seen his Gold Record on the wall and I said "one day I would have one too."

In just under a year I have learned 18 covers, wrote lyrics for 2 original songs, street performed in Santa Cruz almost every weekend and booked several shows. After seeing us progress so quickly GKoop said that he could tell that we really wanted it so he helped us with the music for our lyrics.

From here I am not sure what will happen next but I promise to keep going.
