Sorry if any read this and was scratching their heads on my old profile and wheres Yadkin county NC. We moved here 2 years ago and it took 2 years to finally have a location n where I could build a jam room and I forgot to change my profile......
I'm seeking that Holy Grail of what just about any other band or individuals are looking for and that is a decent bass player and good non ego guitarist and others to complete a band so to say.....The Bass player I'm looking for does not need to be a veteran pro Geddy Lee. Just a descent good time keeper with rhythm. Heck I'm ok with a good guitarist who is willing to go get a bass and rig and give it a try. That is the problem around here to many Eddie Van Halen wanna be's and not enough Rodger Glovers or John Paul Jones.
The guitarist I'm looking for is smooth blues based hard rock. With influences like Zakk Wylde, George Lynch,Jimmy Page etc. Notice I said influences like, If your that good more power to ya....However Just a good guitarist who knows when to throw in that lead and not to over do it.
Intermediate musicians is what I'm looking for. With style, good attitude and willing to practice without having to get so trashed that they cant think or stand. However I'm cool with a few beers and knocking the edge off,420 I'm cool with as long as you don't live for it and abuse it and make it a out in the open thing. I mean come on I don't want to Jam with Ozzie Harriet Or Ward Cleaver. OK for all you young guys who don't know TV Land. Another words I don't want to jam with boring goody good do gooder's. Mature adults who know how to hold their own and know when to slow down on the partying and focus on the music.No drug addicts! If you need to pack your nose,boot that needle,or smoke that crack pipe well don't waist my time.
Music comes first and that's what it is about.
Again I'm not looking for pro's because I'm not. Heck I haven't played that much in 2 years. Moved here 2 years ago rented finally bought a place and it took a year of hard work to build a jam room/studio that is soundproofed. I'm looking for just decent players with drive.
The music is strait up rock. NO DEATH, EMO SCREAM, HARD CORE!!!!! A mix bag of AC/DC,Skidrow Led Zep,Deep Purple, Motley Crue to maybe modern bands like Buckcherry. No real set list of yet. Maybe some originals and some covers.Just good classic ,to hard rock.
Picture this AC/DC walks into a club and meets BuckCherry and Nickelback and Zack Wylde and Motley Crue; a kinda who's who of jam for a few drinks.
Hmmmm the sound they would create?
So is there anyone out there willing to give it a try?
The main thing is take it slow and mesh and and get the grove back. The rest will grow, if we want it to.
