I’m changing this to looking also to show Zeppelin It’s Holiness that I’m the ultimate Robert Plant imitator...I’m identical to every note ever heard by Robert Plant. I can do it all, promise
I am a rather new but bursting at the seams lead vocalist. As a tween I was one of only two males picked for honor choir and did very well at that as a high alto. Solos bothered me though and I started strictly playing the guitar. Zeppelin and Randy Rhoads took hold and would not let up...I didn’t give a second thought or attempt at anything vocal for many, many years. When I heard Nirvana I finally found one day that I sounded like Kurt when I was enraged and began to shyly sing along alone only. Then I progressed to John Lennon’s catalog pretty much, still shy and still alone. I strives to play guitar and sing an acoustic set alone (something that barely entices now...I want to focus on the vocals, in almost every instances of guitar and Vox, but right now I have to do both). I would always chicken out afraid of mistakes or doubting my, i will say it, awesome voice. It happened rather quickly and in a very spiritual fashion that I was mimicking some of my legendary Vocal Gods. For instance (cone on Led Heads, try me) when I’m unhindered and allowed to get LOUD!!, I can copy perfectly every vocal treatment live or studio that Robert Anthony Plant ever did. And I know that even Plant would admit that the student could someday Rival the teacher...I can also do tough copies of Rod Stewart and some, not all and not every day for some, Chris Cornell. I’ve only nailed “Jesus Christ Pose” once but I did do it. I can even carry Temple Of The Dog both parts as an example. Please someone I have some road blocks. I can’t at this moment drive legally for instance
That’s huge I know. I’m currently in the Kokomo Indiana area but will be heading back to Frankfort or Lafayette area very soon. I have some new friends in Lafayette that I can’t wait to play with very soon, but I would love to get in touch with anyone who wants to hear what I can do. Also I’d rather not play a lot of guitar as I sing so much better when I don’t have to.
