ABOUT

I am a soul-funk vocalist who also writes songs and sings blue-folk as a solo performer. I speak French and Portuguese. My funk band might be breaking up due to scheduling difficulties, and I"m looking to join a band with similar interests and to get back onto a regular gig to showcase my creativity. I'm also possibly looking to start my own band. I have lived in many places including Senegal, Brazil, Cabo Verde, and more, so I feel i have many world influences in my rhythms, songwriting, melodies, and vocal ideas. I play violin, guitar, and electric bass a little bit, so I don't like to say I'm only a vocalist, but it is my best and main instrument.
