Shar Stephens offers her vocal talents in a wide variety of styles including pop, jazz, blues, world/culture, and various genres of rock. Creating evocative harmonies is one of her specialties and one for which she has been sought-after on many occasions. She says, "When I listen to music, any music, I hear the harmony in my head. I'm not sure how or why, but it comes to me naturally. It's just... there, and the first thing I want to do when I hear it is sing." Her primary range is First Soprano, but spans easily all the way down to Contralto. She has studied for several years with Guy Babusek, who is a certified trainer in the Seth Riggs Speech-Level Singing technique. Shar's past projects and accolades include vocal work for The Tree, an independent film produced by Radiant Cage Pictures, which won several Telly Awards for its soundtrack. She has also done both live and studio work with a number of vocal and musical groups in the Southern California area.

Shar's style is extremely versatile; she's sultry, sweet, classic and intense all at the same time, and quickly adapts to whatever the project calls out for. She is available for both visual and vocal short-term projects in the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties.
