ABOUT

I’m primarily a guitar player and a bass player. However, I’m not ‘a guitar player who can play bass’. I can play with my fingers,,, all that stuff that people seem to think makes you a ‘real bass player’.

I’m pretty sure I used to be able to sight read music, but I’m pretty sure I don’t remember a lot of College because I spent too much time investing myself in ‘extracurricular activities’. That’s probably also why they very politely told me to leave.

That said, I can play anything I hear. My brain has music floating around in it all the time so I’m good at coming up with parts and pieces. I hear them in my crazy head.

I like incorporating electronic elements into things ( synths, loops,,) but I’m just as happy playing guitar.

I can sing. I don’t want to say ‘I sound like’, because I don’t really ‘try’ to sound like anyone else.

If you’ve got a band with songs and you are looking for someone to plug-in a spot, I’m down, but please,,,,I don’t want to be a b1tch here,, but if you don’t have something, just something that let’s me hear what you’re doing, or ideas you have, I’m not interested. We’ve all wasted weeks and months trying to jump into something that wasn’t locked in and, well,,, you get me.

I’m at least as interested in trying to start something new if you are a drummer. I’ve got songs and I want someone to write a few more with. Then, if we want to add more people we can. Clever, right?
It’s all about not spending time not doing what we all ultimately want to do, and that’s create something that we think doesn’t suck.

Being good inside a Mac w/ Logic ( or whatever DAW you use) is a plus, but if you don’t even know what the h3ll I’m talking about,, but you’re still good, still get hold of me. 90% of you know what I’m talking about.

What other narcissistic, uptight requests do I have? Oh yeah, please don’t use hard drugs and if you’re married w/ children,,, just probably not.

I want to play music. I want to do it a lot. Even if it’s only with one other person for now.

If this makes no sense it’s probably because I have ADHD and my lack of focus results in long winded diatribes,, like this one.
