I have spent many years performing original music and some time in cover bands also. My main strengths are songwriting, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass and harmonies. I can also play keyboard and ukulele.
I am putting together what I like to call a micro band. The premise of this band is to start small and then work up to international status and paying gigs. For people who possibly can’t gig out a lot right now due to other commitments. The goal is to perform a polished act but with a micro gig commitment.
1. Practice once a week.
2. Create an over the top 4 song EP of original music and a shirt and other swag by a set date.
3. Perform short gigs (The 4 songs and 4 covers) opening or during the breaks of other bands, split money paid for EP and shirts at gigs to supplement performing. I’m not sure how many gigs a month minimum or maximum. Possibly 2 or ?
4. Repeat this process.
I Need at least two band members with strong backing vocals for 3 part backing harmonies. This band will be called The New Casual Tease.
