ABOUT

Realized you have to pay to contact others on here. Contact at LLrainmotown geeee male. I write music with no specific genre in mind. Ive been a musician for 20 years. I like all music as long as it turns me on and inspires. I LOVE all genres, not every artist, if that makes since. From acoustic singer songwriter stuff, grind core, metal, reggae, experimental. noise, rock. country(old school), R&B, hip hop, Some jam band stuff ( not all), electronic, punk of all forms, classical and really anything else you can think of. I dont like to label things. My favs include Ween, grateful dead, Zappa. bluegrass old and new,Talking Heads, SOME Phish, carcass, Napalm Death, devil Makes 3, Dead milkmen, Weezer, Sublime, Cream, Floyd, Prince, the Cramps. janes Addiction, King crimson, Misfits, Willie Nelson, townes Van zandt, Karma to Burn, Dylan, canned Heat just to name A FEW. HUNDREDS of Others. I dont write with any specific genre in mind. I have tons of original music and I want the others i play with to contribute and be equals in the writing process. I want to play with many types of instruments. Keys/piano, All string instruments especially cello, violin/fiddle and would really like to work with a female singer but any singer is cool. I want people who can bring original ideas to the table. Musical theory knowledge is not important at all to me, although i understand a lot of it. What is important is the ability to express what you hear in your head and bring it to fruition and be able to work with others, especially in regard to improve and being able to play on the fly. Sometimes theoretical knowledge stifles creativity because of a desire to do things "right". The key word is creativity and being able to listen in the musical sense. No show offs, less is often more and the ability to understand that what is between to notes is jut as important as the notes themselves. Communication within the music is key. I like music that takes sudden turns and cant be classified. Im open to ANYTHING. Not concerned with skill but more so a willing to learn and create.

EQUIPMENT

None except guitars, but if I find the "right" people I can invest. in equipment and gear. I really want someone who knows their way around a studio. Im a dinosaur in regard to recording and modern studio techniques. My knowledge is in the realms or recording analogue. HAHAHAH. I need help here as i want to use the studio A LOT and see it as a instrument.
