ABOUT

I'm energetic, and tireless. Will match or exceed any commitment. I have lots of stage, booking, recording, design, and show promotion experience. I draw and paint, and like to actively design. I'm a co-creator at heart, easy to work with. Ultimately, I believe to jam will speak more than any description, I am ready and willing to do so ASAP.

Influences

guitar tones scooped and aggressive, compositions with dynamics like bends, vibrato, and pinch squeals.Vocals that sound like they give a fu*k. Tyler Childers is a bamf these days.... The mighty Layne Staley of course, Hoon, Joplin bunch of stuff man, lessee...the poetry matters, the conveyance. I don't wanna overthink it, but it can't be hollow, I like to be influenced by my writing partners, and push each other to make great stuff. I don't have boundaries or rules for music exactly , good is good, and corporate manufactured trends are never good.

EQUIPMENT

A little anemic, but I always buy what I need, and I don't wish to purchase anything until I know what is absent and needed. I have a 100w marshall head and half stack, a Vox valvetronix with tube distortion, a Schecter Diamond series and Les Paul both with passive, duel humbuckers, I keep my guitars in top shape and customized to my play style. A couple of cheap but reliable steel string, deep body acoustics. I keep my vocals rehearsed, though each new room and new band has always takes some weeks for me to acclimate to my full A game. I have a few mics sm57 and 58s, but I'm upgrading to an m80 or another equally warm and smooth in dynamic delivery and cable tvs, a power mixer head that's really not worth mentioning, a 13" 4ohm peavy black widow, obviously need much more, but I, what if y'all have a PA, but not a sonic maximizer, ya know? Looking to buy what's necessary, lemme know if ya got a pa or not, either way I' can be ready to audition or jam very quickly.
