Lead Guitar.ABOUT
Looking for lead guitar player (preferably who can sing harmony - but not a deal-breaker) for female-fronted (mostly original) rock band with blues, soul, and jazz influences.
Gigs will be local, some travel, and recording. The focus will be on originals ... approx 80/20 split with covers. Songs are rootsy blues/rock and typically with a gritty, haunting, sultry blues/jazz element to them. From bluesy power ballads to foot-stomping soulful rock tunes.
I love to work with musicians who are mature, experienced, prepared, professional, creative, versatile, enthusiastic, open-minded, and willing to perpetuate a professional image through a visually and musically remarkable stage show. The musicians for this project should be reasonably available for rehearsals, recording, and performances. There will be some travel and touring, but not extensively unless we collectively make that decision. Must have transportation and professional equipment.
If interested, message me here on Bandmix or find me on social media ... I’m easy to find. Let me know a little about yourself, your style, your influences, availability … and if possible, where I can listen to some of your music.

One More For the Road (by Shelly Phelps) Track number: 3 Year: 2004 Album: Girl On the Wire Genre: Blues
One More For The Road Intoxicating kisses taste like berries Used in forbidden wines Lips as sweet as Sherry But they’re dangerous as moonshine Well I never stay for long so I must be moving on So here’s to you and I’ll have One More For The Road One More For The Road A little something for this chill in my bones One more and make it straight up I need another shot of your love I was just passing through - moss won’t thrive Beneath a rolling stone But my weakness brought me to you tonight Cause I didn’t want to be alone Well I’ve had enough I know, but before I go Could I have just One More For The Road One More For The Road A little something for this chill in my bones One more and make it straight up I need another shot of your love One More For The Road A little something for this chill in my bones One more and make it straight up I need another shot of your love Another shot of your love baby) Just One More For The Road Just One More For The Road I’ve had enough I know But it would surely lighten my load If I had just One More For The Road
