ABOUT

Hey there - my name's Shilpa Narayan and I'm a singer here in NYC working on my 2nd album. In the past I've been doing shows throughout NY and Atlanta, been mentioned by Carson Daly, featured on 50 cents blog, AOL Music, ArtistDirect and also opened up for Waka Flaka, Gucci & Wale.

I'm looking to record a 2nd album that features more live instruments and more of a R&B feel - think Alicia Keys, Melanie Fiona, Adele and my favorite right now Emeli Sande. I'm looking for great musicians to accompany me since I just play guitar (and not all that well!) in recording the album and also for some live shows (Living Room, Bitter End etc). Would love to hear from you if you think you would be a good fit! Mainly looking for a great pianist, cellist, percussion, violin & bass.
