SEEKINGVocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Violin, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Trombone, Cello.
Looking to start either a Shoegaze band a la Slowdive/Tears Run Rings, or rocksteady ska band with maybe a touch of two tone a la Hepcat, Slackers, Prince Buster.
Instruments: Ideally looking for (shoegaze: 2 guitars, drums, keys, vocals - female AND/or male), or (ska: 1 or 2 guitars, drums, vocals - male or female), trombone, sax, trumpet).
I don't know how many shows I've played but I was in Mice in Cars for about 7 or 8 year. I played out for pretty much all of that time at places like the Earl, Star Bar, Lenny's, etc. I'm married with 2 kids and past the idea of hitting a record deal and making it big, but I really love practicing and playing shows. I'm looking for open minded individuals without egos who like to collaborate on writing songs. Also need a place to practice.
