Back into metal after a long break to pursue a higher education. The metal industry has changed quite a bit. Been taking lessons again, learning how to play 7/8 string guitars. I’m hoping to find someone to play with. Jam on ideas and get back into writing. My chops are up but the writing part has been hard to get back into. I think if there’s a good fit writing can go well. Also I’m learning thumping and some finger tapping.

I want to be clear, I’m not trying to start another straight up djent band. I love that genre (I know) but I’d like to grow on it somehow and not sound like every other band.

Also I have a singer when the time is right (he’s in the killswitch demo on my profile)
