Proto-punk. Making my amp sound like its melting down. That's what I'm into-- grimy rock n roll that goes for the stomach not the head. I have played blues & jazz, so I know a lot of chords (yay) and I have lead skills, but I am not looking to blow people away with technical chops. I'm looking for "weaponized" electric guitar, bass, drums, keys, etc.
I would love to start out learning covers and move over to originals at some point. I'm not looking to make a career of this. I would say that I have zero commercial musical aspirations. But I would love to get something together for local gigs and parties and whatever. Mainly, I just want to find people that I respect musically, who push me, write some songs, make a ton of volume, etc.
