Simians is a new folk rock/folktronica project that started up during the pandemic. We play original material (we're not a cover band).
We're looking for a percussionist/drummer. Ideally someone who is versatile and comfortable with a standard drumkit as well as congas, bongos, and other non-traditional percussion.
We'll be playing some local live shows, and possibly some out-of-town shows as well. We recently recorded our debut full-length album, releasing spring 2024.
Practices usually take place on weekday evenings, or on weekends.
