ABOUT

I play guitar and write songs. Down-to-earth guy. Used to be in a folk rock band in my 20s, but was musically inactive for more than a decade and I’m finally getting back into playing again. Talent-wise, I’m a fairly decent guitar player/fingerpicker, but nowhere near pro-level. Recently started forming a new band, but we're still looking for a few key instruments to add.

We're interested in musicians (or a multi-instrumentalist) with even a beginner's familiarity playing instruments like cello, accordion, trumpet, flute, trumpet/cornet, glockenspiel, marimba, violin/viola, and/or synthesizer. No need to be able to play all of them, or even play them well. What's important is that you're musical and you show up.

As far as ambitions go, I have no illusions of fame or major record deals—I just want to play shows, record music, and release albums for the fun of it. Got more than a couple albums worth of material that I'd love to flesh out with a full band sound.

I work M-F, 8:00-4:00, so practices usually take place on weekends. Looking for like-minded, humble, mellow musicians (even novices) who are after the same thing.
