ABOUT

I've been in the professional music industry in one capacity or another for over 25 years. I was roadie for just about everyone from country to rap to rock and everything in between.

I've also been in a handful of bands over the years. Some of them had record deals. Some did not . I’ve toured the country with bands I’ve performed in & toured the world with bands I’ve worked for.

I love the creative process when the right people are together.

I have been writing and recording an all original album in my home studio for the past couple years. But I do miss the creative intersection that can be found with the right people. Then the outlet of energy that can be tapped into live is really enjoyable.

I don't normally enjoy playing in cover projects. Although, I do like playing the right cover (with the right people) every now and then.

Influences

My influences are all over the map. (to quote an old bandmate ) everything from sadé to slayer. Primarily I like my music to be on the heavier side (though not all that’s heavy is metal). But, I write material that spans just about every type of instrument-created music.

Greatest guitar influences:
Dimebag Darrel
John frusciante
Jerry Cantrell
Adam jones
Lindsay buckingham.

Drum influences:
Mike Portnoy
Thomas Pridgen
Danny Carey

Bass Influences:
Jean alderte
Brian cook
Les claypool

If I were forced to pic 4 bands to listen to forever on repeat (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER):

PANTERA
The Mars Volta
Tool
These Arms Are Snakes

As for the music I write, that is really all over the map. I’ve written hip hop, electronica, rock, pop, metal, soft rock, etc. The music I write is primarily influenced most by those with whom I am writing. I fit in where I get in.

EQUIPMENT

That's like asking what's the colonels secret recipe. I have a few amps, an obnoxious amount of recording gear and studio level software. Drums, guitar(s),keys, and more. Fully licensed Mac protools setup Every effect a person could want (and then some) for any of the above...

Names and models of the gear aren't as important as the sound they create. But I use peavey, marshall, Mesa boogie, crate, Gibson, gretsch, ESP, behringer, and more.

I even design and manufacture my own brand of guitar bass/vocal effect & stomp boxes (even sell a few to a limited number of VIPs).
