I've been playing bass for 35 years, and teaching for the past 25 years. Based in San Diego, CA since 2000.

Available for Sub/Fill-in work.
Looking to join busy working band.
Local, regional, and/or light touring ok.

Especially interested in opportunities to play any of the following: Instrumental, Funk, Gospel, Blues-Rock, Motown, Soul, Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Latin, Fusion.

Influenced by music that draws from and incorporates a variety of challenging rhythmic and stylistic elements (African, Blues, Brazilian, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Motown, Reggae, Rock, Soul, World Beat), and requires a high level musicianship, improvisation, sophisticated layers of artistic depth, sensitivity to dynamics, effective use of space to allow the music to groove, and listening among musicians to allow the music breathe.
