Born in Tuzla, Bosnia, and based in Scottsdale, AZ Damir Nezirovic has been
playing bass and writing music for the past 15 years.
He began his music studies at age 8 with the acoustic guitar but it wasn't until
later on that he had the opportunity to play bass with: Kai Eckhard (John
McLaughlin), Gina, Sinisa Bogdanovich (Dark Horse), Sanin Karic (Bijelo Dugme,
Jenifer Rush) and many others.
He relocated to the San Francisco Bay area in 2001, where playing with local
jazz musicians further developed his distinctive voice and character on bass.
In the last few years he was playing with R&B, funk, jazz and rock groups around
the Northern California area. You could catch him with: Divalitious, Kiss My
Brass, Gina and others.
