ABOUT

I'm a 24 year old male living in DuPage County. My greatest strength as a musician is my ability to write intelligent, humorous, poetic, yet catchy lyrics. I started out as a screamer for a short lived project called Zombie Reagan ( /zombiereaganchicago ). Since then I have expanded my vocal range dramatically. Lately, I've been playing acoustic music with friends performing both lead and back up vocals. The recordings I have are very rough but they give a basic idea of my softer, melodic singing style. I just started to train myself how to sing so it is a work in progress but I'm improving everyday. You can download them by clicking the downward arrow on the right (100% virus free). The Zombie Reagan page gives a good idea of my screaming ability.

I also can do some basic percussion.

I refuse to play with anyone who is a racist, sexist, or homophobe.

Influences

I simply love all kinds of music. However, as a vocalist, I lean towards punk (oi, hardcore), folk (ranging from Woody and Dylan to Defiance, Ohio and Bright Eyes), Celtic (from traditional to Irish punk), Reggae, Roma (gypsy) jazz, Hip Hop (I'm more of a fan of underground artists such as Immortal Technique and Agents of Change), and Ska (2nd and 3rd waves).

Lately, I've been experimenting with bluegrass/country and opera vocals.
