Influences

90's and some Modern Country, George Strait was my idol growing up. I sing in a Tool Tribute band, when everyone decides to actually want to play. 50's/60's RnB (The Platters, Righteous Brothers, Sam Cooke, Louis Armstrong) these are my go-to for karaoke. I love Incubus, even if they aren't supposed to be cool right now. Breaking Benjamin is always fun, as well as Killswitch Engage, but only with Howard Jones singing (that usually pisses off some people). If you haven't guess it, I love anything and everything that has a melody. I'm not into rap, or screamo, or instrumental. A band without a singer is no different than a band without bass player, or guitar player, or drummer. It is an instrument just as important as the rest. Sure you could do it, but it would sound like sh#t!

Shure Beta 58A Microphone, Shure SM58 Wireless Microphone, Shure SM7B Recording Microphone, Shure Wireless In-Ear Monitors, TC-Helicon Voicelive 2 Effects Processor, Presonus StudioLive AI 16.4.2 digital mixer, Mackie Mr5mk2 Studio Monitors, Alvarez Acoustic, Dean Acoustic, Custom PRS Clone, Enough Professional PA equipment for a full band at medium sized venue w/ capabilities of multi mon mixes, Mics - standard Shure microphones for stage, and plenty of specialty mics for recording, tons of other guitar gear/cables/etc..., LED Wash Lights, moving head lights and scanners, dmx controllers. Oh, and I have a megaphone, a cheap one, but using it seems to get more attention the all the thousands of dollars of other crap I have. /shrug.
