Hello my name is Gary, most just call "G"... I play bass guitar.

Been involved in the music industry for a long time.
Radio personality: 1989 - 2013
Musician since the early '70s,
Recording Engineer since the '80s,
Producer since the '90s.

I'm 60, not looking for a serious band. Looking to start slow, if the chemistry is good, maybe play a few parties, have fun. If we feel like showcasing our talent, great!

As for Instrument Experience (below) I hate labels, but I had to pick something, so I picked "moderate". Middle of the road answer.

Over the years, I have worked with many of my musical influences.

Of course the Beatles are at the top of the list and have worked with 2 of the members... Biggest influence was the West Coast Sound, primarily "the Beach Boys"...
Big fan of the Halloween surf style of "The Ghastly Ones".
Other surf/instrumental style groups: The Surfrajettes, The Searchers, The Ventures, etc Big fan of cover band "The Beatniks" and many others. Recently, discovered the British psychedelic pop band "The Sundowners" I was blown away! Now I would totally be up for a joining or forming a group like that.

Otherwise I have interest in, UK Pop, Disco, Motown, 1960s British Invasion, Yacht Rock, '70s Singer/Songwriters, Surf Rock, Lite Jazz, R&B & The MTV Generation
