Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Bass, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Harmonica.

ABOUT

I'm a life long guitarist 52 yrs. old. I've played everything from Metal to Blues. About 3 years ago I left the church after more than 10 years as a music director. I've studied my way away from religion and am now a committed atheist. I have used my new learning as inspiration for a album's worth of Blues/Rock original music. I would like to find some other like minded musicians to form a band to play these songs. I have programmed some of the drums, but my son is my drummer on the rest and for live. I would prefer to find a lead vocalist that can sing at least as well as I have on the recordings (hopefully better), which would leave me to be lead guitar and backup vocals. I would like to have a second lead/rhythm guitar, bass, and a utility player (keys, sax, guitar, etc.) Don't bother trying to convert me. I know all the tired old arguments. If you disagree with my point of view, move on. But, if you are of a like mind, think you can bring something to the table, and aren't a human train wreck, I'd love to talk to you.

I'm not looking to hire, but to partner. I've gotten a good start and have a set of music to give us something to work on immediately, but want to continue on writing in the same style and genre as a band if we can build one.

Atheism is on the rise, and is a very specific market. There are conventions and groups all over the country and even the world that I think would welcome this if the quality is there.
