ABOUT

I am Currently the Bassist for Fortium. I have played off and on for most of my life. Most of the music I posted on here is a montage of me playing. I mean it is all me, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, vocals. It is ideas for music, that came from me, or covers, so i'm open, to anyone, or any band that thinks I might be a good accompaniment or likes my vision. I am looking forward to playing with some people that enjoy playing as much as i do. I have some ideas for bass tracks that sound cool to me and would like to begin laying down some complete songs. I really need some people to grow with and develop a new progressive sound. I don't care about whats trendy or what people want to hear, what they want to hear is good music and that is what I am striving to achieve.

Influences

My first love was 70's and 80's punk rock, speed metal, Acid Rock: Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, GBH, COC, Bad Brains, Social Distortion, Misfits, Cro Mags, SOD, Sisters of mercy, Etc... Then I got into classic rock: Led zeppelin, Jimmy Hendricks, Doors, Etc... All the kick ass psycho rock. Then it was grunge aka alternative: Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, Sound Garden, Chilly Peppers, Rage against the Machine, Etc... But there were others, not any less significant: Speed metal including Metallica, Magadeath, Pantera, Down, Sepultura, Etc...Hip Hop and old school rap: Too much to list, lets just say I was a break dancer for a while in the early 80's you get the picture. Some bands in a category all there own: Violent Fems, Butthole Surfers, so my influences are good music with a tight funky beat and original ideas for lyrics and riffs.
