I've been playing bass guitar since I was 15 and I would like to start playing in a band again. I play mostly a lot of punk/pop-punk rock music and red hot chili peppers but I'm open to pretty much playing anything except 1990's alternative music....
So if you are even contemplating playing music like matchbox 20, goo goo dolls or the counting crows... I'm most definitely not your guy. Sorry not sorry

Influences
My playing style is very similar to Mark Hoppus from Blink 182. Blink is definitely one of my biggest influences as far as playing style and song/melody creation. I grew up listening to them and still do very often.
Over the last year I've been on a huge Red Hot Chili Peppers Kick, Flea is such a good bassist so I've been learning more of their stuff and trying to get better at pluck-style playing.
I also enjoy tons of other artists like Bullet for my Valentine, Boxcar Racer, Breaking Benjamin, Sum-41, Linkin Park, +44, and Bring me the horizon.

EQUIPMENT
I have two electric bass guitars and an acoustic electric bass. I only have a practice amp right now but I'm in a financially good spot that if I found an established band or a good group of dudes, I could pick up a nice half-stack.
