Still Looking for a pro drummer. Must be versatile and experienced with Rockabilly, Country, Blues, Swing and Surf.. We play 2-4 shows every weekend in the South east Florida area. Most gigs pay 100 a man or more. Band members currently make 2-400 a weekend, sometimes more if we play weddings. We have an agent and manager and backing. Wedont need any fill ins as we already have 4. We need a number one guy that can play a busy schedule and travel a few times a year for weekend or short tours.
If you just retired from your day job and started playing drums for weekend gigs, this is not the band for you. We need someone thats slim, trim and can keep up with us. We also have a wide audience range and you need to appeal to younger kids as well as older folks. Must availale to be at some shows at 5 as we play happy hour 2 times a month. Also must be available for weekend road trips and available to play EVERY weekend.
We play Original Rockabilly tunes but for the local bar/club scene we have a 70 plus song list of covers from old blues to Swing, old country, Rockabilly {which is basically a swing groove}, Surf and more. Drummer must be able to play all grooves including a fast paced train beat style as we rock on the old Johnny Cash tunes.
Must be able to play a swing beat and various train beats.
