Slip Theory is a progressive rock band that was founded in January of 2005 by Ian Loomis, Jon Hassessian and Zeb Willard. The 3 began writing original material and within 4 months they were playing live shows. "The chemistry was there we new we had something as a power trio." Quickly gaining recognition they decided to start work on there first album in Oct. of 2006. Recording there first demo, "Innertia" then giving it away for free at shows. "We just really wanted something to pass out at shows, we didnt think much about it." The band would continue to do shows throughout 2006-07 as the demand grew more for the demo. " We knew we needed to get the album out, it really put alot of stress on us all, especially Ian." Drummer Ian Loomis had over exerted his self by juggling 2 jobs and playing in Slip Theory. Without warning he quit in late 2007. "We tried to reach out to him a few times, but he never responded." Sadly in 2013 Ian passed away. "Though I never heard from him, he was still my brother, and I will miss him always." Jon and Zeb kept in contact over the last 10 years and often talked about putting Slip Theory back together. "Niether one of us ever stopped writing music, this band meant everything to us."
We are looking for a band member not a hired hand.

We included the entire 2006 demo. It was recorded very quickly so the quality is not that good. We plan to upload more music soon.
The video was shot by Ian Loomis in October of 2006. The page and Website no longer exsist.
