My name is Daniel Juergens, and I just moved to Chicago from Boston, MA. I'm a multi instrumentalist/singer/songwriter looking to get a band together to play some music I've written/performed solo, and write new material as well. I performed under the band name Slow Haste, and would keep this name for the band (all of my social media is under this name). I'm currently getting my debut EP mastered and will hopefully have a release in the next couple of months!
My live setup consisted of electric guitar/pedalboard and a 2-track looper with pre-recorded electronic drum tracks that I would trigger during songs. I'm looking to add bandmates to the mix (and cut out the pre-recorded drums). I would stick on (mostly rhythm) guitar and lead vocals. I'm open to specific instruments other positions, but I'm looking to fill these roles:
Drums - Hopefully some sort of hybrid acoustic/electric kit.
Bass - Could be a bass guitar, or a keys player who does bass synth parts.
Keys/Lead guitar - Some form of instrument that would fill melodic/rhythmic space not covered by my guitar parts.
Multi-instrumentalists are much appreciated. It's always fun to switch up parts/instruments during a live set. I'm able to cover any guitar, bass, or drum parts. It would also be great if potential bandmates could provide background, or even lead vocals for songs!
