Must have a wide and versatile performance experience. Existing band mates are predominantly veterans with National Guard Band, Army Band, church and public chorus backgrounds. Must be able to provide own equipment and transport. Multiple instruments AND vocal quality performing a real plus.
Practice performances during the week at VA clinics and benefits for veterans. Ideal performer is someone who is already working, or on a disability such that time pressure is not significant and quality performances are achievable realistically.
Original music composition is a plus.
Will also do foreign language work.
