Ed began his quest to master American music when he was 16.He packed up his guitar,left home and headed to Chicago's South Side. He would sit in the back of juke joints and learn the licks of the OLD BLUES MASTERS. His quest then took him from NEW YORK to NEW ORLEANS to learn from the best jazz and blues players followed by Tennessee to learn from the best hillbilly players. By this time Ed had come into his own, earning the reputation of being immensely diversified and talented, a player's player.
