I began my music background with learning keyboards at age of 10, then began playing guitar at age 12 and discovered my calling. For my first song, I learned how to play the guitar parts for "Crazy Train" by Randy Rhoads in one week, note for note, all by ear. My mother immediately got me into guitar lessons. I've been glued to a guitar ever since... I was part of a very prominent Chicago area band from 1995-1999. I had to put my music on hold after the birth of my son. Now I'm back and ready again. I want like-minded musicians (especially a DRUMMER) looking to experiment with very cerebral progressive rock/metal/tribal style music. My Gibson Les Paul (I named her "Kholay" which means "sunburst" in Sumerian), is my true guitar love. Will soon have a personal practice area/recording studio. The designated band name of this project is called SOLASCEND™ and am looking to create something that everyone can love and enjoy. I already have the needed connections in the music industry, I would like a band to go with it. I have no time for ego, I'm just about pure creativity. I'm in it for the music, not the fame or fortune. Music always comes first. Music has to live and breathe. (BTW, I tune all of my instruments to 432Hz as opposed to the standard 440Hz. Ive done it this way for years. If that is an issue, it is what it is. 440Hz is far too dissonant for me).
