ABOUT

Hey my name is Dane I'm pretty laid back and looking to get together and jam with some folks. I've been playing guitar as my main instrument for a bit over 20 years. I mainly play rhythm but can play some lead as well. I can also sing and can add a bit of rasp to my voice when the time calls for it. I do a bit of picking and took classical lessons as a kid. I play some bass, uke, mandolin, and build and play lap steels (much better at building than playing) and do some repair work on the side. Just looking to get together and jam! I'm open to any and all styles of music... I do find it fun to do acoustic rap covers and do covers of 90s and early 2000s pop but mainly for laughs.

My top 3 are Cake, The Pixies, and Talking Heads. But I listen to pretty much anything and I mean ANYTHING unless it's anything recent and found on the radio... not a country guy... rockabilly and some old twang is a different story altogether tho.

EQUIPMENT

My main go-to are as follows

Fender Strat w/light mods
Gretsch Baritone
Ibanez jazz box w/floating humbucker
Squire vintage modified mustang w/ light mods
I also have a modified Squire Jazz V, MK mandolin, Alvarez uke, a couple acoustics, a couple lap steels, and an lp and sg I've built as well.

The majority of my guitar playing is done through a Fender Blues Deville 410 I built a master volume to run in the preamp circuit so it doesn't blow eardrums getting it to breakup!

I play my baritone through an orange micro terror with a custom ported cab I built with 2x celestion vintage 30s

I unfortunately don't have anything great for a bass amp at the moment so have been using a peavey vypyr vip 2 with the sanpera 2 pedal so I can just loop a simple bass line while I'm practicing at home.

I know I'm forgetting lots but the basics have been covered.
