My Mother inspired my love for music through her piano playing and singing ....My brother Mike inspired my love for music through his Guitar playing and singing. My Mother instilled a deep compassion and appreciation for my fellow human being. I think of her often as she was dearly loved and adored while she was on her earth and deeply missed now that she is in heaven.
My biggest inspiration would have to be my Son Steven, Jr.
He is amazing! To see him grow up was like a blink of an eye! I can only hope and pray that I inspire him as my mother inspired me!
Life is a very precious thing. Whether it be a butterfly or a Sunset, Savor it because it can disapear in the blink of an eye!

Influences

The reason I sing
I wrote a song called "Momma" right after I got out of basic training when I was 19 years old. I think I was about 30 when I wrote the song "Daddy" about my Father Whom I never had the chance to meet. I did write a couple of songs when I was in my early teens about a my young fragile broken heart.
Most of my songs are love songs because love is....very precious..
