Need Saxophonist and Guitarist to form and lead soft-rock band that features all-original songs which is what I do best. If interested, I'll mail you (using the postal service) 3 or 4 songs on a homemade CD (non-studio quality, of course) to listen to so you can decide. The A&R people wanted to feature them on albums to market their own artists, but I'd rather promote my own band instead. That's why I'm on a musician search. Let me know. ---P.S. Saxophonist and guitarist as the nucleus, - new members to follow. Talented as many of you are, playing everyday cookie-cutter styles and standards will define your limits. Remember, songwriters and musicians are commonplace, but above average tunes are not (that's why only the top artists have access to them). As you might expect, an all-original class act (with a hard-earned local reputation) that first catches the attention and then the well-deserved respect of the A&R industry demands more devotion from its members than average.
