Sons of the Radio is holding auditions to replace their bass player. We're a rock band that plays out about 5-6 times per month and practices about 1-2 times per week. We practice in Laurel, MD and our shows range from Baltimore to Annapolis to Northern VA. We have one recording of original music released and are preparing to write for our second album. We also play rock covers. We play shows that focus on our original music once every 3-4 weeks - while most of our shows are paid bar shows where we mostly play covers.

We're looking for someone (ideally male, but females are welcome to apply) fun but also serious-minded, dedicated and willing to play on a pretty aggressive schedule, and someone that, like us, isn't into drugs, has reliable transportation and is easy to reach via phone and email. You can bring your own style to the band (picked or fingers, slap, whatever) but you need to be versatile enough to play covers while bringing your own style and creative voice to our originals.
Specific Requirements:
Age 25-35
Pro equipment
Quality experience playing live in rock bands
Commitment and willingness to help promote for the band and bring people to shows
Ability to sing backup harmonies
Ability to assist with PA and equipment setup/tear down at shows
Have a steady source of income beside the band
Strong preference given to those that have some of the following skills:
Knowledge of pro-tools or similar recording software for demos
Knowledge of graphic design software for flyers, web
