Sophie Diumenti is an American singer-songwriter whose music encompasses many genres. As an independent and unsigned artist, she is releasing singles throughout the year of 2022 and performing throughout Southern California. She sings from the deep places of her heart and wants to have a positive impact on the world using her voice. Her earliest memory, she recalls singing, was out on her family's porch in Soldotna, Alaska where she was born. That’s when she knew that she could never shake off her passion for song. She remembers, at the age of four, when she would belt out her favorite words to the stars.

Sophie grew up in the tiny town of Ottertail, Minnesota where country music surrounded her, but she swore she’d never become a fan. There are hints of it in her without trying, but some of the earliest musical impacts she gravitated towards were artists she discovered on an “Oldies” radio station out of Park Rapids, MN that she would tune into around the age of 10 in her mothers Bonneville. Some include artists like Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and even Aretha Franklin. She was impacted by the soulfulness, strength and uniqueness of that vintage sound and her love for it has never left. Later she started appreciating vocalists like Allison Krauss and Celine Dion all the while obsessing over old rock bands like the Rolling Stones, Beatles and Aerosmith. Growing up with three brothers who also love music, there was a constant flow of it in their house. Her oldest brother and christian music artist, Peter Thiel, recorded and produced Christmas albums for her in high school as well as her first Original EP.

In her early twenties she filmed many professional music videos posted on be to her songs: “You Know Me By Heart,” “Without You,” “Into the Sea,” and “Nowheresville.” Her latest original song release is called, “The Story Never Told,” which is dedicated to her lifelong best friend Maria (24) who passed away leaving behind all of her loved ones. Overcoming certain phases of grief has been a journey and she is picking up the broken pieces of her heart and continuing on in pursuit of her dreams once put on hold. She has never felt more ready to chase her music dream than now and can’t wait to perform at a Venue and Stage near you!

I grew up obsessed with Peggy Lee, Etta James, and Elvis Presley. I've grown to love the passion that Lady Gaga gives to the world and I adore her. I love Nancy Sinatra and Amy Winehouse. I am inspired by the heavy vocals and instrumentation that The Pretty Reckless gives. I love John Legend, Peter Gabriel, Panic at the Disco, Justin Timberlake, Post Malone, The Killers, QUEEN, Alison Krauss, Kacey Musgraves, and more. I love all styles of music.
