My name is Jarrett Martin, I've been playing guitar for about 8 years and Bass for about 2 years. (I wasn't super active over those years though, so I'd probably say I can play as well as a committed guitar player who's played for about 2 years. I've also lately been trying to work on my vocals, I'm definitely not lead singer material, but I can definitely do some backup vocals. (My range is generally in the baritone/low tenor range) I've also been told that I can do a pretty good Chester Bennington(Linkin Park) style scream/singing. I just recently moved to Washington to attend a school up here and as a result, I had to quit my most recent band, and sell most of my equipment, which was pretty sad for me. My last band was together for about a year and we played quite a few shows. We did covers of video game and anime songs and played them at anime/gaming conventions(Whether that be on the stage, street, or hallway). It was an absolute blast.About the schooling up here; I actually couldn't secure the finances to go to school up here this year, so as a result I've got another year before i get college started. I would love to join/start a band again to jam, play on the streets, play some shows and have a great time!
