Looking to get a new group off the ground.
There's such a resurgence of soul music out there and personally, I'm sick of not being a part of it.
Think Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings; great soul and r&b with a sound from yesterday, along with the stage presence. Suits, ties, the whole bit. That's what I want to be a part of. A solid band with a great rhythm and horn section, movement on stage and strong vocals. Thinking more about playing out than recording. Covers or originals; makes no difference to me as long as it's got a sweet old school sound. See my influences.
