Band to Join.ABOUT
Hello, I’m moving to the North Texas area and would like to find an established and committed soul/r&b/funk/blues/jazz/pop band to play with. Or country, I like country too.
I have a successfully gigging soul band in Northern Colorado that’s been doing 2-3 well paying gigs per month for several years and so I would like to find a similar dynamic in Texas!
I’m open to starting a new project with very experienced musicians - if there isn’t an existing band that’s looking for someone like me.
I’m a lead vocalist, with a big alto voice (I’ve got some high notes but I don’t live up there) and a bigger... personality. Think, Brittany Howard but Puerto Rican.
I’m a team player and I strive to always do what’s best for the show. I don’t play any instruments, but I treat my voice like one and I am dedicated to delivering engaging and professional performances with my band mates.
I know how to front a band while respecting the musicians making most of the noise... looking for like minded pros.
I won’t be in Texas full time until June, but I’m visiting there monthly and would like to start working as soon as possible when I arrive, fingers crossed!
