Hey, we are SouthBound, and we had originally formed as a female acoustic duo. We played together and traveled quite a bit for the past 3 years as an acoustic act. We have been approached quite a bit in the past about expanding to become a full band. We've always put that idea on the back burner, but now we are ready to give it a try. We have a great drummer, and we are in the midst of auditioning some bass and lead guitar players. We are all laid back people, but we have a huge committment to what we are trying to do. In the few weeks since we have joined forces, we have already started booking shows, so we are anxious to have a bass and lead join us, but we are looking for a very specific type of person. We need someone that wants to TRAVEL! If you live within 2 hours of Escanaba, that would be great. Most of our practices will take place in Ishpeming or Escanaba. There are some clips on this page that are just of some acoustic songs, but we will post some more upbeat stuff soon. We really love music that allows us to experiment with different harmonies. We've been compared primarily to the Indigo Girls and to the Judds. Our musical influences range from Michael Jackson to Garth Brooks.
