Lead Guitar.ABOUT
Lead player needed for established/gigging country band. Our lead bowed out to pursue other opportunities after 9yrs and we need a replacement ASAP! What we are looking for in our new lead is the following:
Skill; Beginners need not apply. Must be experienced, know your instrument and your music.
Stage Presence; Must have a great onstage presence. We don't want someone who's just gonna stand there and play. Being animated and approachable for the audience is what we are looking for.
Attitude; Professional attitude. No baby mama drama, no alcoholics or druggies (we all drink responsibly while on the clock). Egos are welcome as long as they are kept in check. We are all laid back easy going guys and looking for the same.
Gear; Please have WORKING gear. We don't care what kind of shape it's in as long as it's reliable and sounds good. Please have WORKING reliable transportation as well.
Vocals; Looking for backup and some lead vocals if your willing. Not a deal breaker but would be nice to have.
Age; Must be 21 and no older than 40. We will take an older guy/gal if they are a good fit. If you can play we want to hear you!
We play a mix of country, blues, rock and southern rock. But mostly country. Being as were in the midst of a lead search we have a little time to add/take out some songs. Which is a great time and opportunity to have some say in what we are going to play before we decide on a final list. We play covers and a originals. If you have songs or ideas we are open to hearing them. We make decisions democratically as a band. We have PA, lights and equipment. All we need is you. We cancelled our gigs thru Sept so no pressure to have all our songs ready to go in a month or less. If things progress faster we can get back on the ball and get out there.
