We are sisters, Sara and Leah McBee, 18 and 17. We sing country and country pop. We are the granddaughters of the late Merle Kilgore. Renowned singer/songwriter and manager of Hank Williams Jr., he wrote Ring of Fire and numerous other hits. Our Granddaddy strongly believed in us, and would have helped us succeed if we had not lost him February of 2005.
This past June, the CMA Song Festival had a tribute to Merle Kilgore in Nashville, Tennessee where two of the featured, headlining attractions were (us)Southern Spelle and Satin Stone(a up and coming duo out of Nashville). We have worked together closely since Satin Stone moved to Dallas. Now Satin Stone is fixing to go out on Tour and we are looking to start our own band. We are very serious about our music careers and we are looking for like minded musicians. We have several connections in Nashville and they are ready to listen to us as soon as we feel we are ready. We are looking for Lead Guitar, Base, and Drums.
