SEEKING
Vocalist, Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist - Soprano, Vocalist - Alto.ABOUT
I'm trying to put together a girl-fronted pop-punk/post-core/hardcore/rock band.
I have a rough vision, but I'd like to work with a singer to figure out what kind of sound and style we want, then build a band around it.
I've posted a couple samples of some stuff I was working with last year (I recorded all the instruments.) I've since been writing songs that are a bit more hardcore, but like I said want to work with someone to create the right sound before recording.
My strengths:
- Writing songs: Lots of ideas. Melodies are my weak point, though I love writing lyrics. Would love someone to work with on this.
- Marketing: I do this for a living now. Earlier in my career I did websites for Black Sabbath, Justin Bieber and Big Boi to name a few, so that part won't be a problem.
- Committing: If I say I'm going to be somewhere I will be there.
- Performing: This is like a drug for me.
- Recording: I can do enough to record a solid demo at the very least.
Despite my affection for rock, I'm not into drugs or a destructive lifestyle. I'd rather build something positive, fun, and creative.
I also write bluesy-dreampop songs. Not very good at them, but they're fun to experiment with.

Anberlin is my absolute favorite. Also: Saosin, Silverstein, New Years Day, Dayshell, Flyleaf, Emery, Tonight Alive, Halestorm...you get the picture.
EQUIPMENT
I have my own equipment (obviously) and a small studio in my apartment. It's enough to record an album with, though I would have it mixed and mastered professionally.
