Ive been playing keyboard for about 2 years now, and in my opinion im quite good. I havent had any lessons, i just basically play whatever i want. i like to improvise and come up with stuff as i play. ive played alongside a guitarist and a bassist a couple of times and the people listening said it sounded amazing with the keyboards. i cant pretty much play anything by ear, but i can very easily pick up songs when i watch someone play them in front of me. EASILY. i guess the term people describe me as is musically inclined.
The type of stuff i play can sound either like:
techno
psycadellic trance
ultra-happy synth pop
trippy spaced out new age music
scary carnival music
happy carnival music
death metal/ black metal strings and choirs
and everything inbetween.
I have made plenty of songs, i just need someone (or people) dedicated enough to help me out in creating it and smoothing it out and such. But im more than willing to listen to ideas. at an extent.
i DO NOT want to do anything "scene". but am willing to play at those types of venues. i have lots of scene friends, im just not one of them.
