Pick a style, any style: I can play it. From funk to punk, hip-hop to country, I got it down. I’m a 25-year old newsletter editor who recently moved here, but grew up around the area. Been playing drums for about 8 years now in lots of different types of bands since I began. I’ve been told countless times that I have a remarkable ability to improvise. What I lack in the technical ability of say, a jazz fusion drummer, I make up for in my range of abilities styles and dedication to whatever group I’m with. I have both a regular acoustic set and a high range electric kit so I can practice even in quiet places like my Arlington apartment. I left my newsletter editing job to attend George Mason for grad school this Fall. I was previously playing with The Usual Suspects for the past year up until last May.
