As a child of the 80's i cannot help but find inspiration in the music of my teens...sometimes, dark, wry lyrics, strong baritone vocals and harmonies. i am currently in a project with some 20 somethings and fine lads they are, but we do not see eye to eye often when it comes to style and genre. just myself. the songs so far have been written over years and just recently recorded on garage band. i am not really a guitar player, but i faked my way through to put some tunes together.
possible lineup: myself: drums, percussion and lead vocals. keyboardist or guitarist with vocals and harmonies (sampling capabilities?) additional percussion with back vocal ability. probably bass if no keyboards. i'd like to keep it down to three pieces, maybe even two to start. the songs are only sketches, really and there's alot of room for them to grow and evolve. additionally am looking to co-write new songs with the right partner(s).
