Looking to join band, anything guitar-centric (blues rock, metal, alt rock, punk, etc). Self-taught for 12 years in range of styles.
Always leaning towards the darker Em/Am-key stuff: Nick Cave, Cramps, Last Shadow Puppets, Bauhaus. Just want to bring hard-hitting, artistic rock back from the dead. Very, very big on British punk/alt.
Can learn most styles/sounds/profiles in a few days if asked and come with ideas. Full gear rig ready. Have only played with cover bands before and new to this but really committed, dream to get locked in. Extremely passionate/obsessive about music.
Music theory not expert lvl, but know enough to craft a song skeleton--rest comes with strong intuition/knowledge and arts background to bring the creativity.
Open-minded and chill, but hard-working guy just looking to branch out in NYC, meet people, break the work-home-work cycle and take passion to next level.
