Analogous to the ageing process inherent with 100% agave tequila, at first I may come off 'blanco' or 'plata', the bold flavor of the distilled agave presenting a harsher, more sarcastic and cynical front... with time, I resemble reposado and añejo... smoother, subtler, and more complex. As with other spirits aged in casks, I take on the flavors of my environment, adapting and assimilating... all the while, the harshness of the alcohol mellows, allowing my individuality to remain, leaving a lasting impression.

Closer To The Heart
Closer To The Heart Track number: 3 Year: 1977 Album: Farewell To Kings Genre: Progressive
Utilized a '06 Highway One Jazz through a GNX3 workstation to perform and record this cover. Backing track supplied by 'Ultimate Play-Along, RUSH'.
Tom Sawyer Track number: 1 Year: 1981 Album: Moving Pictures Genre: Progressive
Same GNX3 settings used for 'Closer To The Heart', but played with a USA GL.
YYZ Track number: 3 Year: 1981 Album: Moving Pictures Genre: Progressive
A classic cover of a great instrumental by my favorite band, RUSH. The original is played at what I consider lightspeed, so I slowed it down by ~10%... you know, so I could fit all the notes in... (wink, wink!). Again, recorded on my GNX, with my USA Geddy Lee... the level of my bass to the original is 5:1, so definitely upfront. Enjoy!
