Metal United 2: Bigger, Stronger, Heavier(Intro)

RR-336 Productions presents the second installment of Metal United the flagship event for RR-336Productions. I am very happy to say that we are ahead of schedule with this one. This is how I originally planned last years event to be booked ahead of time but unfortunately nothing went to plan. But now after a few shows everything seems to flow much more smoothly. Metal United 2 will be a one day, all day, all ages, all subgenres, outdoors event. Last years event was unfortunately 16 & up and indoors and it was a two day event. This year will be much of what the original was supposed to be.

Headlined by progressive metal legends HELSTAR. Yes the Reunion lineup of Remnants of War is still together for this one. They have been working on new material. They may be playing some new stuff at Metal United 2. Co-headlining will be black metal artist BAT CASTLE and Thrash metal artist REVEREND who co-headlined last years second night of Metal United entitled Aftershock.

Some of the support consists of Austin's MEYVN who were scheduled for the first Metal United event but unfortunately canceled to due internal turmoil. However they recently performed at the Metal Classic in February as well as the Edge Magazines compilation release party back in December. Also ADUMUS of Houston, TX will be making an appearance after their strong performance at the SOTNC 7 festival. Also local acts such as ANCIENT MALUS and APOCALYPTIC HORROR will be the local headliners. These two bands also participated in last year's event on the first night of the original Metal United. Other support also consists of local metal act AMONG WAR which consists of former members of Burning Winter who were the local headliners of the second night of the first Metal United entitled Aftershock. Also other local acts consist of new comers BROKENSEAL and DEVILMAYCARE which both play similar styles of southern influenced metal. Others include OMNISCIENT of North Carolina and VOWS IN ASHES of Austin as well as SPIRITUL WINTER of Channelview, TX and TEMPLE OF WRATH of Houston, TX.

Altogether there will be a total of 14 bands which is the exact amount of bands for last years two day event held at Bonds 007. This years event will be held at Black Diamonds Bar 9431 Southton Rd.
