Split Head + Band in Morristown, TN

ABOUT

Split Head started during March of 2020. Josh and Aiden had previously been in a few bands, and always jammed together but nothing really stuck until they just decided to do it themselves. Our first concert was in the living room of Josh’s girlfriends house, and ever since then we knew that “Split Head” was just meant to be.

We are motivated, more so inspired, by nature and everything around us. Sometimes it’s an emotion, and sometimes it’s Josh’s girlfriend. Life itself gives us motivation and inspires us to be ourselves within our music.

Some of our biggest influences include “The Garden”, “Green Day”, “Tyler, The Creator”, “Foster the People”, “Remo Drive”, The Red Hot Chili Peppers” and “Nirvana”.

We like to pull sounds from all sorts of different genres, from the metal screaming of bands like “Suicide Silence” and the funk of bands like “Chic”. Our sound is a synthy conglomeration of guitar rock, and hip hop.
